IILM Lucknow organized E-Orientation Program of PGDM 2021-23 Batch

 
 

IILM Academy of Higher Learning, Lucknow, which provides value-based education, conducted a two day long-orientation program of PGDM 2021-23 & PGDM (Finance) 2021-23 batches on August 12 & 13,  2021. Due to the restrictions of Lockdown this year orientation program is being organized online
On the occasion of commencement of new batch of PGDM, IILM Academy of Higher Learning witnessed & power-packed day. Specifically tailored for the current situation, the Induction Program is designed to inspire students to think big and create a platform of learning, interacting and change their perspective during this new normal.
The Program was started with virtual lighting of lamp and welcome address by Dr. Naela Rushdi, Director, IILM Academy of Higher Learning, Lucknow.
Addressing the new batch Dr. Naela Rushdi warmly welcomed all the students and said that always remember that you are here for a reason and you need to compete with yourself only. Life will put many challenges before you and your attitude will decide whether you will overcome this challenge or not. She also emphasized that there are no shortcuts to success.
The occasion was graced by diverse speakers and distinguished Guests from corporate world and academia. Chief Guest Dr. Dwarika Prasad Uniyal, Pro VC RV University Banglore, Guest Speaker Mr. Kunal Bhardwaj, Dy. Zonal Head, IndusInd Bank, Guest Speaker Mr. Sarthak Seth, Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd., Guest Speaker Mr. Anoop Mishra, Assistant Branch Manager, ITC Ltd. and Guest Speaker Ms. Kena Shree, Dy. General Manager, NTPC Ltd. shared their views with the Students.
The keynote speaker of the day Dr. Dwarika Prasad Uniyal in his address said that students should learn to maximize their academic & skill based insights through mindfulness. He emphasized on the values of trust & empathy & elaborated on greater life purposes.
Mr. Kunal Bhardwaj stressed upon the requirement of discipline in life and working with clear goals.
Mr. Sarthak Seth started up the session telling the students about how these two years are important and help in developing a good personality. He also focused upon the impact of common sense in decision making with the help of good analytical skills. This is the means of differentiating oneself from the others.
Mr.  Anoop Mishra conducted the session on 'Industry expectations from fresh Management Graduates' he focused on the following skills to be learned – Analytical skills, Innovation, Problem Solving & Critical thinking.
Ms. Kena Shree graced the orientation program with her valuable inputs on "How to maximize learning in the next 2 years". She brilliantly conducted the session by storytelling & anecdotes. The students enthusiastically attended the session & learned from it.
Dr. Sheetal Sharma, Dean Academics, IILM Lucknow welcomed all the students and thanked the speakers for sharing their experiences with the students. She said that to become a better manager you need to be a good human being. She also briefed the students about the 2 years journey ahead.
On this occasion all the faculty and staff members of IILM Lucknow family interacted with the students and wished them good luck for their new journey.
Apart from various guest sessions, the Induction Programme primarily aimed at sensitizing the new batch of students towards institute’s philosophy and make them comfortable with the current working conditions. The new batch showed much excitement and zeal during their virtual orientation program.
